Acquerello is one of the latest brands to join the Altagamma Foundation, the association that groups together 113 Italian brands of undisputed international reputation operating in the luxury sectors of food, fashion, design, jewellery, hospitality, automotive and yachts.
Founded in 1992, Altagamma reunites the best cultural and creative Italian companies. Matteo Lunelli – Cantine Ferrari’s President and CEO - leads the association whose main targetis to develop and promote the ‘Made in Italy’ in the world through many activities, ranging from institutional relations to research and development.
The reasons that brought Altagamma to select Acquerello amongst its brands depend of course on the constant commitment to excellence, which brought our rice to be distributed in 63 countries. The entire supply chain, from rice farming to packaging, from administrative and commercial activities to communication and customer relationship management, is carried out at Tenuta Colombara.
As Piero Rondolino, founder of Acquerello, explains: “Becoming part of Fondazione Altagamma is not only the recognition of Acquerello as a brand of excellence. It’s also about the recognition that a basic food product – as Acquerello is - can become one of the most prestigious representatives of Made in Italy worldwide thanks to the carefulness and passion that all the people in the company put every day in their work.
