From April 9 to 11, 2026, Manhattan hosted Icons of Italy, the citywide exhibition promoted by Altagamma that transformed 43 boutiques across the city into showcases for Italian excellence. Fifty-six Italian brands, spanning fashion, design, food, automotive, jewelry and yachting, brought their craft to the heart of New York, guiding visitors through what makes Made in Italy a cultural phenomenon. Acquerello was among them.

April 9, at Boffi|DePadova

The first appointment took place on Wednesday, April 9, at the Boffi|DePadova showroom in New York, a space that perfectly embodies the brand's vision: not simply furniture, but a complete and harmonious way of living. A cocktail evening bringing together design excellence and Italian flavors, where the rice grown and produced at Tenuta Colombara found a setting entirely coherent with its own nature: quality that needs no introduction.

April 10, at the Lamborghini Lounge

On Friday, April 10, the Lamborghini Lounge on West 26th Street hosted "The Art of Performance", an evening that brought together some of the most distinctive expressions of Made in Italy: Fazioli with a live grand piano performance, Masciarelli with a curated wine selection, Nonino with its artisan spirits, Bellavista with its Franciacorta. And Acquerello, with a live risotto preparation in front of invited guests.

Few formats tell the story of a product more directly: the gesture, the aroma, the dish. Those in the room were able to see and taste a rice chosen by more than 70 countries worldwide for its quality, in one of the most exclusive evenings of the entire event.

What Icons of Italy stands for

The initiative, backed by Italy's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and ICE-Agenzia, was conceived as part of the National Day of Made in Italy (April 15, the anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci's birth). It celebrates the long cultural dialogue between Italy and the United States, not as a trade fair, but as a journey through processes, territories and identity.

For Acquerello, it means standing alongside the names that define Italian quality in the world. And telling that story in the most direct way possible: with a plate of risotto.
